Last month author of How to do Everything and Be Happy, Peter Jones, held his book launch at Waterstones in Southend and asked us to go along and make ‘something happy’ for his guests.
It didn’t take us long to come up with the perfect ‘happy hat’ and as you can see it certainly made people smile.
There isn’t an event that we’ve come across that doesn’t benefit from balloons
We love Alan Carr and got all excited when we found out that he was going to be doing a gig near us……until we found out it was sold out. Hurumph!!
Not being able to go didn’t stop us from thanking him for making us laugh by delivering his very own Mini Me to the dressing room.
When we looked at Twitter and our inbox the next morning we saw this……….
a tweet and picture from the man himself. There couldn’t have been a better start to the day.
The Spexy Beast himself
Alan Carr has 1.2 million followers on Twitter and during the first few hours of the tweet going out 67,000 of them had looked at the picture and emails and orders were starting to appear in the inbox. We were over the moon.
We had a quick look at the total before writing this post and the total has gone up to 90,088 so we think it must be time for a little celebratory glass of wine.
The thought of it possibly hitting 100,000 gives us butterflies.
update: have crept up to 122,253 views gulp!
