We want to make as many people smile during August as we possibly can and we need your help to do it.
We know that it is hard to go into work or get on with mundane day to day stuff whilst it feels like everyone you know is off on holiday so we have come up with a plan……..our Summer Smiles campaign.
It is almost impossible to walk past one of our balloon flower displays without smiling so we have decided that we want to get them in as many public areas as possible during our ‘Summer Smiles’ campaign
Do you know a hairdresser, hotel, office or any other reception area which has a floral display? Do you think they would consider changing their fresh flowers for balloon flowers?
If you think that they might be interested in a change then please let us know and we will get in touch and see if they fancy trying something a little bit different next time they order some flowers.
We want you to smile too so will be saying a ‘thank you’ to everyone who helps us with our campaign.
If you refer 1 company who place a balloon flower order we will give you a Balloon Baboon discount card for 6 months*
If you refer 2 companies who place a balloon flower order we will give you a voucher for a half price bouquet delivery, anywhere in the UK*
If you refer 3 companies who place a balloon flower order we will give you a voucher for a free bouquet delivery, anywhere in the UK*
If you refer 4 or more companies who place a balloon flower order we will send you a very special ‘Thank You’
* totals will be added up on 30th September and vouchers sent out soon after
I love Valentine’s Day to bits and always have.
When I was at University my room looked out over the entrance to the campus reception and I would spend as much time as possible sitting on the windowsill on 14th Feb watching all the bouquets of roses arriving. It was bliss.
The person who came up with the idea for Valentine’s Day was obviously a woman BUT she must have been aided and abetted by a man who convinced her that it would be much easier for men to remember if it was on a fixed date unlike Mother’s Day, for example, that can move about a bit.
At least having a single date to remember would give all women a fighting chance of at least getting a card on the right date if not roses or a gift too.
So, how is it that Valentine’s Day creeps up on so many of us when we know exactly when it is? (I speak for myself here too)
Well count this as your little reminder that Valentine’s Day is just under a month away
If you decide to order something that has to be made and despatched then don’t leave it too late to place the order (she says as someone who has often found the perfect gift online but then ordered it too late for delivery in time for 14th Feb and then had to rush out to find an alternative)
With our balloon bouquets and some other freshly made products I am sure, companies can only physically book in a certain number to be made in time for the last posting date. They just run out of time.
So, if you are thinking of sending something that is made to order please put your order in as soon as you can so that you don’t have to come up with an alternative that you are not really so happy about giving, local garages have improved their range but not THAT much
As well as offering standard bouquets of roses and mixed flowers we are also thinking of offering a ‘create your own bouquet’ service that will allow you to put the flowers that you want together – just like when you visit a real florist.
That way you can personalise the bouquet and spend as much or as little as you like.
You could still include roses or the flowers we use for the mixed bouquet but you would also have the option of adding more complicated flowers like the orchid in this post
We would love to know what you think of this idea and maybe even the amount you tend to spend on a delivery of flowers as that info would be very useful to us too.
So please take a minute or two to leave a comment. We really value your feedback.
Thanks in advance
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
One of my favourite things about a New Year is starting a new diary. Fountain Pen in hand Birthday’s and Anniversaries are first to be added. As they are written in, in my very best handwriting, I start thinking about present ideas and they go into another little book of mine.
That got me thinking. I know I am not the only one to drool over a new diary but how many other people like to start mentally ticking off the gifts they are going to give too?
If you are one of them then the offer that sprung to mind as I got my diary out to officially start 2010 is perfect for you.
Order a balloon delivery for any date in 2010, before midnight on Sunday 3rd January, and we will send you one of our 10% cashback cards so that you can save 10% on all balloon deliveries booked for the next 6 months!
This could save you a small fortune!
Don’t forget that you can pre-order a delivery for any date in 2010. Just imagine ticking off those birthday gifts as you write them in your new gorgeous diary – you will be ahead of yourself and the year has only just started.
Have a wonderful 2010
Our local hospital banned fresh flowers from wards earlier this year and it seems that more and more across the country are doing the same.
They haven’t banned deliveries of balloon flowers though which gives us the perfect excuse to add more varieties to our collection. It has nothing to do with the fact that making balloon flowers is one of our favourite things – honest!
Our first new flower is a Calla Lily below…..
As well as offering standard bouquets we are also thinking of offering a ‘create your own bouquet’ service that will allow you to put the flowers that you want together – just like when you visit a real florist. That way you can personalise the bouquet and spend as much or as little as you like.
