Don’t leave your Valentine Order to the last minute – like I do

I love Valentine’s Day to bits and always have.

When I was at University my room looked out over the entrance to the campus reception and I would spend as much time as possible sitting on the windowsill on 14th Feb watching all the bouquets of roses arriving. It was bliss.

The person who came up with the idea for Valentine’s Day was obviously a woman BUT she must have been aided and abetted by a man who convinced her that it would be much easier for men to remember if it was on a fixed date unlike Mother’s Day, for example, that can move about a bit.

At least having a single date to remember would give all women a fighting chance of at least getting a card on the right date if not roses or a gift too.

So, how is it that Valentine’s Day creeps up on so many of us when we know exactly when it is? (I speak for myself here too)

Well count this as your little reminder that Valentine’s Day is just under a month away :)

If  you decide to order something that has to be made and despatched  then don’t leave it too late to place the order (she says as someone who has often found the perfect gift online but then ordered it too late for delivery in time for 14th Feb and then had to rush out to find an alternative)

With our balloon bouquets and some other freshly made products I am sure, companies can only physically book in a certain number to be made in time for the last posting date. They just run out of time.

So, if you are thinking of sending something that is made to order please put your order in as soon as you can so that you don’t have to come up with an alternative that you are not really so happy about giving, local garages have improved their range but not THAT much :)
